Returning to roots: Financial express

I owe reference to this site and this information to Jairam Ramesh. Thanks to Goldman Sachs, we now know that India will be the third largest economy in the world by 2050 AD. Goldman Sachs dared not extrapolate beyond 2050. By 2100 AD, India will undoubtedly be the largest economy in the world. By 3000 AD, India will be everywhere. And remember, in 3000 BC, India was everywhere. In case you didn’t know, if you accept some astrological data given in the Mahabharata, the Kurukshetra war took place roughly around 3000 BC (let’s ignore what Indologists think.) This website reminds us of our glorious past, a past that we will clearly redeem in the next one hundred years. Here is a sample of the Indian historical influence. Let’s focus first on place names. By the way, the website says this information is culled from Stephen Knapp’s book “Proof of Vedic Culture’s Global Existence”. I haven’t read this book, but I think we all should.

Did you know England derives its name for Angelsey? Contrary to what you might think, this doesn’t have much to do with Angels or Anglo-Saxons. The name is actually derived from Lord Vishnu’s title of Angulesh, which means lord of the Anguli country. You know what anguli means and England is nothing but a finger-sized country. Angulisthan later became Anguliland and then England. England may be finger-sized. But Britain is big or great. So that name comes from Brihat-sthan. London is a nice place to visit. Perfectly understandable that London should be called Nandanium. The Romans corrupted this to Londonium. Likewise, Sudamapuri became Shrewsbury, Jagannathapuri became Ainsbury, Shaileshpuri became Salisbury, Sankarapuri became Canterbury, Lankeshwara became Lancashire and Ashwacot became Ascot. Reverse colonisation doesn’t follow colonisation. It actually preceded it. And extended beyond England.

Ireland is actually Aryasthan. Skanda.. took a naval expedition northwards. Thus Scandinavia. The Sharmans went to Europe and we got Germany. Better still, Deutschland, which is actually Daityasthan. The Shaks became Czechs. Hungary is Shringeri and Budapest is Buddhaprastha. Spain throbs with life, so it comes from the word “spand”. Italy also has a Sanskrit origin, because it is at the bottom of the European continent. As for Rome, it comes from Lord Rama. Italy was founded on 21st April in 753 BC. We have such a precise date because in 753 BC, Ramanavami was on 21st April. If Lord Rama is there, can Ravana be far behind? Thus we have the city of Ravenna, physically located diametrically opposite Rome. “Paap” means sin and “ha” means remove. That’s how you get the word Pope and Vatika became Vatican.

The Rishis went to Russia and gave that place its name. Communists will no doubt be happy to…
